South Africa Migrating Sage Pastel software to Opensource Alternative

Good day everyone

I am trying to help a lady migrate from Sage Pastel to another opensource accounting app and I need some assistance please.

We are trying Turbocash 4 currently but have to convert the CSV files to JSON and then import the data to the database. Not succeeding though.

Any suggestions for a user friendly simplified program for an SME to use in this case and steps to migrate the data?
