I am trying to figure out how to calculate the total amount of dividends to be paid to each class of shares
I specifically do not understand the following
4% Series B non-cumulative preference shares — 100,000 issued and outstanding 11,250,000
2.3% Series C non-cumulative, convertible preference shares which are convertible i
nto common shares at the rate of two common shares for each preference shares,
at the holder’s option — 50,000 issued and outstanding 1,750,000
I am guessing taking the total amount dividing issued shares then multiplying by the percentage but am unsure
Thank you
Irina
