tax withholding refund for non US resident, using 1042-S?

I´m a non US resident, got the 1042-S (already filled) form and i want to know how can I get the refund of my tax withhold? where should I send this document? whats the process?

Hi Felipe

You have to file a US Federal tax return and probably one for the state too. The tax return will determine your tax and there you report the withholding amount to offset the tax. You will either owe more tax or get a refund.
