I am new here and pretty new to the world of accouting--however, I am hoping to change that real soon. Anyhow, there is a problem in my Principles of Managerial Accounting Class that I cannot seem to answer, mainly because I don't understand. Because I am a distance education student, it is hard for me to obtain the proper guidance from my teacher unfortunately as well.
The problem in question relates to the costs per equivalent units. Granted, I am new here, I have attempted to attach a screenshot of the problem to this thread. I am hoping that it worked out properly.
Can anybody help me, not only to answer the problem, but to understand how those answers came to be?
