I am a newbie to here but hoping I can get some quick advice.
I have recently taken on a new client. They currently use freeagent, which I haven't used before but I am sure I'll pick it up quite quickly.
They have two employees (possibly soon to be one) that are paid on a monthly basis and run their payroll through Free Agent. I don't offer a payroll service and haven't got any experience in payroll. I have two questions.
1) Is it simple to do through freeagent and could I run the payroll for them? If it is fairly simple could someone possibly run me through it.
2) If it isn't simple I have had quotes from between £23 - £30 per month for another company to run the payroll. This seemed a bit high to me but as I said I haven't ever got involved in this side of things so perhaps this is the going rate.
