I found this forum because I haven't been able to get a response from TaxAct, and I'm hoping there's someone here who knows TaxAct well enough to help me.

I'm having an issue that's preventing me from completing my return on TaxAct. I have a 1099-MISC from a contract job I did last year. I entered it according to TaxAct's instructions, but after I entered it, my refund number didn't change. Then when I came to the review part, I got an red alert about my 1099-MISC saying

On the Form 1099-MISC from Antares Audio Technologies, LLC you entered income in Box 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, or 14. You indicated that income from Antares Audio Technologies, LLC is other income to be reported on Form 1040/1040NR, Line 21. Only the income from Box 3 and 8 is transferred to Form 1040/1040NR Line 21 as other income. Please remove any invalid entries.

But the form for entering your 1099-MISC doesn't show any other option! So how am I supposed to report this income??
