UK What's it like being an Accountant?

Hi guys,

So, I recently graduated from University and was always focused on Banking as a career. Having done numerous internships and work experience schemes in the industry, it's clearly not something I want to pursue at the moment.

I would like to stick within Finance and am currently looking at Accountancy and Consultancy as career options.

I just wanted to know from those who currently work or have worked in Accountancy about your experience and what you guys felt was the best and worst part about working in it? Is the exam + work stress manageable and if so, what are the best recommendations you could give for overcoming this?

If your interest is in the accountancy then you can automatically able to handle/manage your exams and your work. Only strong desire matters.
