My load time for Quicken was exceeding a minute, and I was advised to do the year end archive. Since I had 5 1/2 yrs, I followed the procedure for each year, noting that Jan 1st of the following year would remain. I did archive each year from 2006 through 2010 onto a CD. However, none of the transactions for those years was removed by the program. I then went to reports-business-transactions, and customized all of the transactions for those years. Finally, I deleted the history on the report, but still all of the files remain as they were originally. Any suggestions on how I can remove the 5 years of data? Thanks.
