Lives in NJ, works in PA. Box 1 of the W2 shows 25k, while line 16 for the state of NJ wages shows only 5k of income. Is this just an error made by the payroll company? There are no additional pages to the W2 or any corrected W2 sent out. I verified this with the client and just wondering how to handle this going forward.
