I am a junior accountant at a small firm with about 10 partners. One of the partners refers clients to a bookkeeper who I deal with all the the time. One day it slipped out that she wasn't thrilled with her partner, which I never knew she had. I decided to google her firm and see that the CPA's wife is the other partner. I just happen to know her rare maiden name that is not really used anywhere else. I know that our accounting clients who use this bookkeeper do not know this, and I am pretty sure the CPA partners don't know anything either. I haven't finished my CPA exams and admit I don't remember the minutia of ethical requirements. What should I do?
