USA Stuck doing Accrual to cash basis conversion!

Hey Guys,
I just started working after 3 years break and have a hard time reconciling Accrual to cash basis financials for tax return preparation.
Please help!

If it's practical theory you're after....

The cash basis items should be straight up one in one out (segregate by periods to make rec. easier to do.

Accruals basis.. you're going to need to find out which transactions make up the accruals posted. and reconcile that to the figure.

When you've done that reconcile the two lists against each other and reverse out the accruals.
