Trying to get entry level job at 50

Graduated last year with my Macc. Can't seem to find an accounting job.
Is it because I am older?
I don't want big 4. Just a small firm to learn some of the basics. Then i figure i would transition off to corporate.

It's never too late when it comes to finding and starting (venturing out) a new career. But given the years of experience behind you, you would be eligible for a higher role. Apply with many companies and bag a handful of roles where you get to choose the right one. All the best with your career!
