Get CPA certification

Hello everyone!
I’m an accounting student in Israel, and about to start my 3rd year.
I’m trying to understand what it takes me to do after graduating school to get a CPA certification in UK or the US.
I mean, what kind of tests do I need to complete to be able to work in the UK or the US as accountant.

I can't speak to requirements for a CA (chartered accountant) in the UK. But to get a CPA designation in the US, the exact requirements vary by state. All states require you to pass the Uniform CPA exams. But they vary in terms of the college credits you need, the work experience you need, and whether you need to be a US citizen or a state resident. Some states have unique requirements on top of all that.

If you're serious about getting a CPA in the US, first figure out in what state you want to live/work. The state board of accountancy will detail its requirements for a CPA license.
