Hi peter. I would suggest doing all the networking that you can in local accounting related organizations. I'm not sure how things are in your area when it comes to business networking groups, but in my area there are a few specific general business groups as well as a few specific accounting related groups.

Joining these groups or attending a few meetings is a great way to break into the business and accounting niche in your community. Regardless of your academic performance, networking is always going to play a strong role in finding the job you want.
